Ho Chi Minh is an octopus because he was trying to take over all of South Vietnam, his tentacles represent the strong grip that he had over the area. The United States used an air strike (airplane attacks) to take down the many attempts of taking over South Vietnam. This cartoon shows the purpose of the United States getting involved in the war. It shows what both the U.S. and China wanted out of the war. |
